Wedding consultations are by appointment only where I will take you through the complete floral planning of your wedding. I will begin with designing your bouquet to match your style, colour, dress and season. From there I will design boutonnieres, attendants’ bouquets and corsages for your family. Once this theme is developed I will help you realize the perfect centerpieces and decor for the ceremony and reception.
I will guide you through the design process and bring all the elements of your wedding, even your own DYI projects, into one wonderful story about the both of you. I also recommend you bring photos of your gown, the attendants’ gowns, your Pinterest page or pictures of things you love. All this information will help me understand what you really want. I strongly recommend not pre-purchasing vases or containers for centerpieces until the full design concept is done.
Nineteen Melrose Flower Studio will deliver all weddings flowers to include separate delivery points for bouquets, boutonnieres/corsages, ceremony and venue flowers. A part of my delivery service is to guarantee safe and full set up of your flowers. Delivery times and locations will be as agreed upon, to coordinate with yours and your venues schedule.
I have free delivery for weddings and events in Barrie, Midhurst, Oro Medonte, Orillia, Angus, Innisfil and Cookstown (minimum purchase price of $300.00). Delivery charges may occur for outlying areas.
Once you have chosen me to be a part of your day, you will receive a copy of your contract, which will specifically outline all flowers, accessories, rentals, and services. We ask you to carefully read the contract and contact us should there be any changes or omissions. All further minor changes can be made up to ten days before your wedding.
Nineteen Melrose Flower Studio requires a non-returnable retainer of 30 % of your contract to reserve a specific date and time for your wedding. This fee will be credited to the total balance of your contract. Certain types of rental equipment may require additional refundable deposits, which will be outlined to you at the time of your initial consultation. The final balance of your wedding or event (reflecting the credit of your initial deposit) is to be paid in full no less than ten calendar days prior to your wedding date, by cash or credit card.
